⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lovely 2 night stay, beautiful location, very comfy bed, tasty breakfast and walking options on the doorstep. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, happy to share local knowledge and went out of their way to help with printed walking directions for an 11 miles circular walk. Many options for dinner just a short drive away.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect place for a getaway. We were warmly welcomed by the host who straight away recommended places to go for dinner. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had a full English cooked for us which was spot on as we departed to climb scafell. We definitely would stay at this hotel again when we next visit the lakes
